Osun Govt commissions 21 township roads.

The Osun State government has commissioned another set of 21 township roads in Osogbo in its efforts to provide good infrastructures for the people of the state.
Speaking during the commissioning exercise on behalf of Governor of the state ,Ogbeni Rauf Aregresola ,the Special Adviser to the governor on Works, Mr Sabitu Amuda disclosed that the roads being commissioned cost the state government about N4billion.
The Adviser who observed that Osogbo has never attained the status of a befitting state capital due to the lack of good roads stated that Rauf Aregbesola’s administration has brought about transformation to the area especially with massive road construction across the state.
In another development, the state government has reiterated its commitment to the provision of food for its people.
Speaking while distributing 3,000 oil palm seedlings to farmers at Ijebu-Jesha, in Oriade local government area,the Commissioner of Agriculture ,Hon Wale Adedoyin who represented Governor Aregbesola charged the farmers to make proper use of various government support to them.
