Gov Jang condemns Jos bomb blast,urges people to be courageous


Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State has condemned the four recent bomb blasts that occurred in the state.

Commenting on the blasts which occurred at the terminus market, and football viewing center along Bauchi road in the State capital, Gov Jang called on the people of the state to remain courageous and have faith that the war on terrorism will be won.

The governor in a statement by his Director of Press Affairs, Mr James Manok said the attack coming few hours after each other was intended to disrupt the peace and normalcy which had returned to the State.

Gov Jang sympathized with the victims of the bomb blast which resulted in the death of about 150 people.

He appealed to security agencies in the state to ensure that perpetrators of the bombings to book.

Meanwhile,a lot of Nigerians have also condemned the Jos bomb blasts describing it as still the handiwork of the terrorist Boko Haram group which has torn three states in the north east of Nigeria into shreds and abducted over 200 girls of Government Girls Secondary School,Chibok,Borno State.
