Delta State Govt clampsdown on homosexuals.

The Delta State government has said that hoteliers involved in encouragement of the increasing rate of homosexuality in any part of the state are to be brought to justice.
Disclosing this clampdown in Asaba while addressing the media ,Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr Chike Ogeah observed that despite the fact that President Goodluck Jonathan had signed into law the anti gay bill, homosexual activities have continued to thrive in Warri and other neighbouring towns.
He lamented that the illicit activities was being carried out between boys aged between 9 and 18 years old who are put in hotels as homosexuals and patronized by adult men.
The Commissioner pointed out that any other persons found to be connected to this illicit acts would also be brought to justice.
According to him, government decisive actions in Warri will be extended to bigger towns including Asaba with a view to demolishing all structures used for the illicit activities.
He charged parents and guardians to watch closely the activities of their children and wards with a view to inculcating good morals in them..
