Abducted Kogi Speakers Sons Released 53days after.

The two sons of the Kogi Speaker of the State House of Assembly who were reported kidnapped by unknown gunmen in April ,this year have been released to their parents.
The duo ,Ogirima aged 7years and Afeez aged 3years ,sons of Mr Momoh Jimoh Lawal were seized from the family residence of the Speaker at Okenwe in Okene local government area of Kogi State on the fateful day after their mother was threatened with death.
The abductors had also carried away household utensils,electronic gadgets and cash from the Speakers wife on the day of their kidnapping.
But announcing their release on Saturday,53days after their abduction, the special assistant on Media to the Speaker, Mr Felix Udebu said the two children have reunited with their parents in Kogi but did not disclose whether any ransome was paid.
Meanwhile, the Kogi State Governor, Capt Idris Wada has described kidnapping as unacceptable in the State and warned perpetrators to desist or relocate from the State.
The Governor who was represented by the deputy governor Mr Yomi Awoniyi handed down the warning when he visited the Speaker to rejoice with him.
He however said the release of the children was a testimony to the ruggedness of the support the present administration in the State has given to security agencies in the performance of their duties.
